As many of you know, the Tampa/St. Pete Pro-Am has been an outstanding league for current and/or former professional and college players to continue to sharpen their skills on the basketball court during the summer months.  Many players are current college and/or professional players that live in the area as well as high skill level players, which make this summer league the best  in the state of Florida.  The summer league is played under NBA rules and regulations with modified guidelines.

In regards to officiating in the league, BAY PRO-AM is a great opportunity to continue to refine officiating skills as well as provide outstanding preparation as he or she pursues  a higher level  of officiating.

As part of the officiating program, the development process for officials is  the most important emphasis.  There will be scheduled rules meetings, clinics and other events throughout the summer season to help further each official.  This is free of charge for those officials not a part of the program.  Come listen and learn during a training environment.  Supervisors and NBA officials will be invited to observe, teach and officiate games during the summer league.
